Our Inspiration
The Estudiantes International School project is inspired by the Institución Libre de Enseñanza (ILE), which is based on three fundamental ideas:
Inspired by the ideas of Francisco Giner and Manuel B. Cossío, among others, the institucionalistas sought to provide children with strong moral values, a cultivated intellect, and a healthy physical condition. Their methodology included coeducation. Observation, manual work, and the cultivation of the arts completed the ILE spirit. Students received a supportive education—an education for life—based on an active learning methodology with frequent outdoor classes.
